Description: Right hand end of block preserved, broken at left. One of several step blocks from the Square Peristyle Building reused for retaining wall in forecourt of the Royal Stoa. Set upright, resting on its back face, most of top and bottom surfaces exposed. Front face worn smooth, preserves traces on top surface of tooth chiseling and raised werkzoll (? - very faint) towards left portion of block. Bottom of block displays tooth chiseled surface at right, raised roughened surface at left.
Hard travertine-like limestone.

Context: Near N.E. corner of north porch of Royal Stoa. Second block from west in a group of three similar blocks.
