| Title: Euthynteria Block Fragment with Mason's Mark |

| Description: From the middle of a block, with parts of top and back surfaces only preserved; broken at both ends, at front and at bottom. The top has a smooth surface finished with a chisel but not polished. On it there is a rectangular dowel hole 0.045m. x 0.02m., with pry hole behind and slightly to the left. In front of the dowel hole there is a well-cut mason's mark, Δ. The back surface of the block is left rough-picked. From the Temple of Ares. Pentelic marble. From the same series as A 146, A 215, etc. |
