Title: Cornice Block with Mason's Mark: Doric

Description: From a lateral horizontal cornice, a cyma reversa soffit molding with a vertical fascia high above it. The nosing molding is much battered; possibly an ovolo. In the top two rafter cuttings, and at each end a cutting for a Π-clamp. Traces of stucco of marble dust remain.
Hasty work. In one end a mason's mark, Δ.
Two joining fragments of the corona were found nearby.
Granular brown poros (Aegina?).
Context: Built into foundation of Roman house to east of Tholos, southern part.
