Title:   Ivory Figurine

Description:   Small figurine mended from three fragments. Main body in one piece, broken just above the ankles, right arm is missing. Also gaps in the locks of her hair. Orange stain in the back of the head and few stone incrustations in the back. Splitting and cracking conditions, very fragile. Surface scratched.
Aphrodite Anadyomene type wearing a diadem and holding the tresses of her hair at either side of her head. Drapery covers her back and is wrapped around her left leg. Tiny drilled holes for eyeballs.
Elephant ivory.
