| Description: Complete but for gaps in body. Mended from three fragments. Disk: bust of a richly dressed personage, facing right, flanked by two vent holes. Figure wears a squarish cap and a triangular necklace/collar. Disk framed by herringbone rim. Solid handle with single groove. Base: circle extends from handle with three incised lines in center. Fine orange clay, blackened at nozzle from burning. Clay similar to African Red Slip ware. |
