Title: Spouted Amphora
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ: Στιλβωμένη αμφοροειδής ραμφόστομη πρόχους 1400 – 1375 π.Χ.

Description: Mended from many pieces. A few small fragments of body missing; also numerous minor chips. Mouth has cut-away projecting spout. Two handles, round in section from shoulder to near top of spout. Narrow neck with raised ring at base; broad shoulder. Body tapers sharply to small flat bottom with false ring foot.

Fine reddish-brown clay. Rather flaky glaze fired unevenly red to black.

ADDENDA "Base ring ware," Cypriote, wheel made, ca. 1400 (Astrom-Merrillees 1/5/62).
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ: Αμφοροειδές αγγείο με ραμφόστομη προχοή. Λείπουν θραύσματα από το σώμα του αγγείου.
Context: Mycenaean chamber tomb, ledge at east end.
