| Description: Single fragment preserving top edge, front and back surface of a funerary stele; broken off below and at sides. Surface of relief worn and flaking in spots. Head of a young woman facing front, with right hand raised and three fingers resting on cheek; the fourth finger partly broken. Fleshy lips, prominent chin, large eyes outlined with thin ridge. Fragment of thick drapery on left shoulder. Ear-length hair. Back surface roughly finished. Possibly late 4th century B.C. |
