Originally identified as a vase:
Mouth broken away. Small globular vase; high stem finished smooth; no base; the stem is now pierced through from top to bottom; may have been attached to a base.

Handle and part of lip missing. Flaring foot, unglazed beneath. Neck and shoulder unglazed. Body black glazed with wide purple stripe around middle.
Fine pinkish-buff clay. Dull black glaze.

Disk with slightly raised rounded rim. Cracked.
Scratched letters:
Fine pinkish-buff clay. Remains of black glaze on upper part of rim. Shiny brown smears on top, within rim.
