Two nonjoining sections preserving lower body and foot (a) and part of shoulder, handle, and mouth (b); partly restored.

Flaring, slightly angular foot; slightly beveled resting surface; slightly convex underside. Two grooves on shoulder and on neck. Very deep mouth with pinched spout opposite handle. Strap handle, slightly concave to outside. Shiny black glaze outside and inside mouth, thin wash on interior. Lack of wear and presence of wash over broken edge suggests vessel was broken in manufacture or soon thereafter.
