Mended from eleven fragments; half of rim and some small areas restored; traces of burning.

Flat bottom, somewhat convex, with string marks. Double concave profile. Inward sloping rim, concave on top. Light reddish brown fabric (5YR 6/4) of medium hardness; thin, dull brown glaze on all surfaces.

Nearly identical and from same pyre: P 16735, P 16736, P 16738 (Young 1951b, nos. 10:5, 6, 8, p. 126, pl. 53:a).
