| Description: | Mended from several fragments; nothing of rim or base preserved. Inside and lower part of outside covered with mottled red to black glaze; upper part of outside reserved. Bordering the bottom of this area, three narrow stripes. Above them the remains of a handle attachment with pendent lines, of a large set of concentric circles, and of a crosshatched panel. Pinkish-buff clay with a few bits. Numerous bases, but very few fragments of the upper parts of such skyphoi, may be found in the cans and boxes from this pit. | |
