| Description: | Three fragments from the rim and upper wall, each mended from many pieces. A large deep cup, with offset rim, glazed black inside and out. Around the rim a band of laurel leaves in purple with incised outlines. Inside, a purple band at the base of the rim. The stem of the ivy wreath is in purple, without incised outlines; the twigs between the leaves are incised simply. Clay, pinkish-buff, slightly granular, partly fired gray. Good glaze. | |
