| Description: | Knees to oval base of statuette of woman in mantle and chiton. Right leg bent deeply and tucked back. Mantle caught low over right ankle and rises to upper calf-height over chiton of left leg. Mantle in five thick folds to left side, framing left support leg. Deeply drilled folds of chiton well spaced; rasped finish throughout. The base rough-picked on slight diagonal, not its original height. Back of statuette less defined, but carefully finished. Pentelic marble. | |
