The muscular figure, perhaps Herakles, is partially draped, he wears only a lion's skin, or maybe panther's skin, thrown over the left shoulder. The head is hanging down behind. The skin is caught up over the left arm, which is raised from the elbow. Cf. S 265 (Ι 30). White marble. | |
