White marble with bluish veins. Found in ... 246/5 B.C ... Found in digging a hole for a tree at a point 1.50m. west of the Great Drain, 11.00m. south of the north end of the Metroon, lying in loose earth just below present surface. |
Appears to have fallen into the drain from above, after the drain was filled up. Hence need not to be contemporary.
