Exploration in the peristyle of the Heliaea (1960); evidence for rebuilding in the third quarter of the 4th c. B.C. with some disturbance as late as 1st-2nd c. A.D. Date of reconstruction ca. 325 B.C ... Ca. 350- 325 B.C ... (nbp. p. 3607). Three areas included: a) Deep stony fill in middle of peristyle (p. 3471) and from clearing trench of inner rectangle in peristyle court (p. 3551). b) Footing trench of SE pier of peristyle (p. 3468) and footing trench of second pier from west in south aisle (p. 3469). c) Other areas, period of peristyle (pp. 3461, 3463, 3465, 3557).

A dumped filling including red figured fragments of the second quarter of the 4th c. B.C. Coins: 25 June 1931 #12 (in strosis above pottery deposit) 15 November 1952, going through the containers Tin 59-Box ... Ca. 375-350 B.C ... 15 November 1952, going through the containers Tin 59-Box 60, provided some substantial additions, broλκught together some pieces from the neighboring areas, p. 1862.

Investigations to the northwest of the market square in the area of the road that bordered ... Protogeometric to Late Roman ... No subdivisions are given but the layers and of the stoa are dated over the three areas as follows: Area of Road: Layer I- IV and pit below Layer I: 1st c.

Fillings in and to the north of Building A/Poros Building/Greek Building ("Strategeion"), the accumulation mostly a late archaic dump, but not deposited till near the middle of the century. Most of the ... First half of 5th c. to ca. 460-450 B.C ... Excavated areas were kept separate as follows but "LT is uncertain if useful or desirable to keep any or all of these areas separate ... the inventoried material from c is of the same sort as that from a and b."
