| Two fragments from a statue:
a) from left ankle.
b) of left foot with sandal.
Scale, workmanship and material suggest that the fragments come from an akroterion of the north wing of the Stoa.

Only half remains. Echinus-like profile; rim sloping down towards interior. Black glazed inside and out, with a narrow reserved line on upper wall outside. Good glaze worn on outside and resting surface ... 1953 ... From clearing early cutting in bedrock along south side of South Foundation of Middle Stoa adjoining later course of East Branch of Great Drain. |
