To the west, Hellenistic and Classical levels were excavated, and a pyre buried under a floor was exposed, dating to the late 4th or early 3rd century B.C.
... More of its eastern back wall was exposed, along with several cross-walls. It seems to have been a building of at least six rooms/shops set side-by-side along the street. |

Excavation were concentrated on two areas: northwest ... 13 Jun-4 Aug 2006 ... In deeper layers, a pyre of early Hellenistic date was found. Within the road itself, more of the hydraulic installations were cleared, including a second lead pipe and the drain along the side of the road. ... A poros block, incorporated in a pit, can perhaps be associated with the eastern part of the Stoa Poikile, just within its northern wall. |
