Dug into fill under floor (floor level not preserved) on east side of Strategeion near the NE corner of room formed by the eastern poros block wall and an east-west polygonal crosswall. The hoard describes an oval with its widest point running roughly east-west (0.211m), narrow dimension roughly north-south (0.140m) Forty-six found loose, the remainder fused together in cone-shaped mass, point at bottom, weight 6.280 kg (estimated 400 coins).
