Small Jug. Fragment of wall. Sloping shoulder, curving in to fairly wide neck. Groove on shoulder. Fairly hard, fine, micaceous, pink fabric (7.5YR 7/4) with a few dark red inclusions; very pale brown ... Context of before ca. 150 ... Cf. a moldmade jug in Istanbul (PF II, p. 103, fig. 8:2).

Intact except for missing handle, rim and chips from base. High, raised base ring; pear-shaped body merging in to wide high flaring neck. Single vertical band handle. Black zigzag between bands, above ... 18th c. A.D ... ADDENDA Istanbul or Kutahya 18th. c.

Part of handle and over half of body restored. Angular foot; beveled resting surface; nearly flat underside. High lower body. Curved shoulder with smooth transition to long, nearly cylindrical neck. Torus ... Context of 150-110 ... For shape cf. a lagynos in Istanbul (PF II, pp. 101, 105, fig. 6:1) and CVA, Brussels 3 [Belgium 3], pl. 2 [140]:18.

Wall fragment with a little of projecting rim. Glaze misfired reddish brown in places on outside; a bit greenish on inside. Max. dim. 0.074. Fight(?). The fragment preserves the raised, bent right arm ... Ca. 510-500 B.C ...
