Medallion: many-petalled rosette.
Lower zone: three overlapping rows of leaves with alternating palmettes and rosettes above. Two ridges ... 17 April 1953 ... Two ridges separate lower zone from main zone, but pattern of main zone carries across the upper ridge, sometimes on top of ridge, sometimes underneath ridge.
