Clay red at core, buff on outside surface. Splash of brown substance, looks like vitreous glaze, possibly mastic(?).

Fragments of rim and one handle missing. Ring foot formed by projection of walls; knob end with depressed center inside; flaring collar rim with ledge on inside; short lightly ridged handles.
