Title: Red Figure Calyx Krater Fragments

Description: a) Near the top of the fragment is an ovolo band; below is a nude male figure facing to the left, his hair bound by a white band. He holds some indistinguishable object in his outstretched right hand. Above his head to the left are the arms and cross bar of a lyre.
b) Wall fragment depicting both upper and lower zones divided by a band of egg and dot. Of the upper zone are the feet of two draped figures hurrying right; of the lower zone the head and shoulder of a garlanded youth, right, with a scarf billowing out behind his shoulders. At the left, the hand of a figure, right, holding a filleted torch. White for the line of rocky ground in the upper zone, for the boy's fillet and for a streamer on the torch.

Attic clay; black glaze inside.
